The Center for Inquiry–DC (CFI–DC) offers an opportunity to put your principles into practice by joining other rationalists to work for positive change in society. In addition, the D.C. We hope to be a group of open-minded families who want to impart to our kids a sense of spirituality, moral education and open-mindedness regarding the "bigger questions" in life, outside the context of organized religion. Most likely, this group will be comprised of kids ages 4-10, who come from multi-ethnic / multi-religious backgrounds, that are not currently members of a church community. We welcome thoughts and participation from all parents to help shape the content of our monthly or bi-mo …

FAHA (Fredericksburg Area Homeschoolers’ Association) began as more than a homeschool support group. It started as an intentional community, secular, close-knit, and like-minded. In 2003, the founders were immersed in attachment parenting, respectful parenting, and natural living. That is still strong in us, and has continued to inform our lives as our children grow. New members have been attracted to some or all of these values and interests and we’re a strong, connected community. We live aro …

This group can help you regardless of whether you're an atheist, agnos …
